Vol. 3 gives histories of the so-called "Praying Indians" and the Nipmucs, plus an account of the King Philip War in the Connecticut Valley area. Vol. 4 contains information on the war against the Narragansetts, and the Great Swamp Massacre. Vol.5 focuses on the Eastern War of 1675-1677 with the Indians of Maine. |
