Our quality top grain buckskin is priced according to color, uniformity, useable area, garment quality and shade. We carry #1 and #2 quality. Hides vary in size. If you need help, let us know what you are making and we'll help with your selection (1-800-430-2855). Hides are measured and marked at the tannery and are sold by the square foot. We offer the following catagories.

| Buckskin #1 - Colored Excellent smooth and suede sides, holes and imperfections are near edge of hide. Garment quality. We will find the hide closest in size to that ordered.
| | | Buckskin #1 - White Excellent smooth and suede sides, holes and imperfections are near edge of hide. Garment quality. Keep in mind hide sizes vary. If you order 9 sq.ft, we may give you a hide that is 9 1/2 sq.ft. etc. We will come as close as possible to size that ou request, but will almost always go up in size. Hides go up to 11 1/2" sq.ft. generally. We get a few up to 13-14 sq.ft.
| | | Buckskin #2 - WhiteHides run 8 - 12 sq.ft. Good quality smooth side - garment quality and weight. Excellent suede side. Holes and blemishes are the edge of the hide.
