Originally part of European military attire, gorgets soon became part of the regalia of the Northeastern Woodland people. Our brass and copper Crescent gorgets are hand made here in the USA from 22ga metals. They are made in a style copied from the Europeans, but with no ensignia. Each hand cut and hammered gorget measures approximately 5.5" x 5.5". Holes are predrilled. Add your own necklace attachments of ribbon, deerskin lace or trade beads. Excellent quality. |
