padWhite Willow Bark - 4 ozpad
White willow bark has been cut and sifted to reduce dust. Traditionally been used by Native Americans from Florida to Canada for pain relief. The glycoside salicin, from which the body manufactures salicylic acid, is the basis of the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects of willow. Natural salicylic acid is reported to produce fewer side effects than the synthetic acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), and, although initially slower acting, seems to be more long-lasting.

Click to enlargeBlue Juniper Berries - 4 ozpad
Perfect for natural outdoor cooking! When dried, the berries remain soft but when broken open there is a pith surrounding the seeds which is delicious fried. The aroma of juniper is immediately reminiscent of gin, having a woody, piney, resinous smell that is somewhat flowery and contains notes of turpentine. The flavor is equally pine-like, spicy, refreshing and savory, making it an excellent with for rich, gamey or fatty food. Can be added to fish and lamb and blend well with other spices, especially thyme, sage, oregano, marjoram, bay leaves, allspice, onions and garlic. Juniper Berries complement - beef, game, pork, venison, cabbage
