When we bought out an old trading post, there were literally a hundred or more glass wampum belts, necklaces, pipebags and more. The glass wampum used on these items is much more uniform than the glass wampum made in India today. This is the older European made glass bead.
This is a treasure trove to the Northeastern powwow or rendezvous'er. Made the traditional way, loomed, and then attached to various items.
