This intricately detailed miniature horsehair baskets feature a fine weave of black and off white colored horse hair. They are probably made in southern Arizona, however we do not have the provenance. They arrived from a collection of other items. Very similar to Papago basketry. These darling little baskets range from the smallest of 1/4" to about 1". Three of these baskets have little lids! |
